Countrywide Combating Challenges Important For Government, Khalili

Kabul (BNA) Some elders and influential of northern provinces met with Mohammad Karim Khalili Second Vice-President. 
At the meeting the elders of Samangan, Balkh, Baghlan and Sar-i-Pul provinces initially strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks and expressed their sympathies with the victims having lost their dear ones and praised the bravery of the security forces in foiling the attacks. 
They also expressed happiness over foiling of the attempt against the life of Khalili. 
The elders shared some of their political, security and environmental problems with Khalili and requested the government to adopt measures for their solution. 
They also sought the attention of the government in presence of different strata of the people in the government, reiterating that presence of people at the government organs should be based on qualification and transparency. 
Khalili praised the views of the elders and reiterated on addressing their requests. 
He added that fortunately despite the relative security in the Northern provinces, better ground for economic and cultural activities have been facilitated. 
He also assured them that combating challenges in all provinces including the north is of importance for the government of Afghanistan.
