NATO To Support Afghanistan In Chicago Summit

Kabul (BNA) Speaker of Lower House of parliament Abdul Rauf Ibrahim in meeting with a NATO expertise delegation of beyond the Pacific the other day. 
During the meeting the security situation in Afghanistan, NATO’s support to Afghanistan after 2014, announcing support to Afghanistan at Chicago summit, security transition from NATO to Afghan security forces and equipping Afghan forces came under discussion. 
Speaker of the house, besides briefing on security situation and the modalities of terror attacks in Kabul and other cities including on the parliament, called for more equipping and training of Afghan police and national army to help strengthen security in the country. 
The delegation in the meeting while lauding the courage of Afghan security forces in rapid encountering and eliminating terrorists had condemned the recent terrorist attacks. 
The delegation had also appreciated the security transition process to Afghan forces and stressed for continuation of NATO support to Afghanistan after 2014 at Chicago summit.
