Kabul (BNA) NATO General Secretary, Andres Fogh Rasmussen told Radio Azadi that “when the issue of terrorist networks activities and their safe haven is taken up, we share concern with the people of Afghanistan”.
“We will try to convince the government and the militaries of Pakistan towards serious struggle eradication of the terrorist network on border areas” he said.
Rasmussen’s assertion indicates that insurgency does not exist the village of Afghanistan, but this ugly phenomenon is exported to Afghanistan from the open and hidden centers of insurgents of Pakistan with the aim to prevent progress in Afghanistan and put our country in the morning of their dear ones.
President Hamid Karzai stated on several occasions that struggle against terrorism will not yield results, unless the attention is directed to the main centers of insurgency, as it is enjoying financial and logistical supports of the regional intelligences.
The people asked time and again, when the forces struggle against terrorism understand that the terrorists’ centers are not in Afghanistan, why they are not addressing the main centers of training, equipping and financing of the terrorism and the insurgents.
Despite the insistence of the leadership of Afghan government, the people could not find a convincing answer to this question.
